Meet the team: Mette

Bubbly, kind, outgoing, helpful, and caring: that is our Customer Service Specialist, Mette Groot Obbink. With a heart of gold and a determination of steel, Mette is always looking to help the customer and find the best solution to everything!

Since May 15th 2023—she’s got it down to the last detail--, Mette has been part of the Fieldpiece team and has been proud to work at Fieldpiece. One of her favorite memories comes to mind when talking about her work: “I don’t see the end-user much in my day-to-day life, but I love going to exhibitions and really seeing how excited technicians get about our tools,” Mette explains, “and not only that, but I could also just see the spark in their eyes. It’s awesome to see,’ she adds.

The pride of Mette isn’t only in the products, but also in the team. Mette is an integral part of the team with her willingness to learn everything, kindness shown to everyone, openness and welcoming vibe she radiates, and of course her humor. That welcoming vibe, as she describes it, is what ultimately convinced her to come work for Fieldpiece. When she walked into the office, it immediately felt like a good time. And the product spoke to her too, of course.

Even though Mette doesn’t have a technical background, Bas Kamermans’s story, Fieldpiece’s General Manager, was so convincing that Mette had to check it out for herself. “I think the greatest strength of Fieldpiece is its complete portfolio,” Mette explains, “HVACR techs like being able to have the same brand for all their tools and I like that we offer that.” She has learned so much about the industry and the tools since being a part of Fieldpiece and according to Mette, that is thanks to the team. Feeling free to ask any and all questions about the products has been important to her, and the team has been so welcoming in teaching her everything she needs to know. “What makes this team stand out?” Mette asks, “Well, what doesn’t!” was her simple answer.

At Fieldpiece, we are very grateful to have Mette on our team. Her kind spirit and eager character make for a great customer service specialist. We cannot wait to see where Mette will bring us in the future!
