And look at that, it’s April already! It’s time to introduce you to a new team member. On the agenda today: Lotte van Rootseler.
As our Digital Marketing Manager, Lotte knows all about engaging, interacting, and communicating with the HVACR industry. On behalf of Fieldpiece, Lotte is the mind—but also the heart—behind our social media and online communication. Digital Marketing is really only a newfound passion for her, only having been appointed the position since earlier this year.
But Lotte is no stranger to the Fieldpiece team. Having started out as our Customer Service Specialist, she has been working for Fieldpiece for since the start of 2022 and has been loving it ever since. “The best part about working for the Fieldpiece team is that it actually feels like a team. We can all rely on each other, we can be our true honest selves, but we also have a lot of fun at the office,” she explains.
Transitioning into the digital marketing position was truly the best career step for Lotte at this point in life and she is beyond excited she gets to stay with Fieldpiece to further her education and her professional life. “When I talk about Fieldpiece, I get so enthusiastic, and others definitely notice that about me. I enjoy working here a lot so I’m very happy I get to develop myself professionally but also personally at Fieldpiece with my new job.” Lotte remarks with a smile on her face.
And even though Lotte’s first interaction with the HVACR industry was through her job as Customer Service Specialist at Fieldpiece, she has grown fond of the industry since. “I like working for this industry because Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, but also air safety and health are at the bottom of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs if you think about it. Really, everyone needs the HVACR industry which makes the field so cool to work for,” Lotte explains, “but the Fieldpiece Family of products is what really convinced me of the awesomeness of the industry. I see how our tools truly help the professional and it’s great to work for a brand that is truly unique and innovative.”
The digital marketing position fits Lotte well. With a creative but analytical mind, Lotte knows a lot about the marketing industry and is always eager to learn more. It is awesome to have such a curious, determined, and resourceful team member at Fieldpiece who also knows how to make the whole office laugh. We appreciate Lotte a lot for what she does for Fieldpiece but also the personality she brings to our team; we truly wouldn’t be the same without her!
