Meet the team: Jörg

In July, it’s time to highlight one of our German forces: Jörg Oehme. Initially hired as Technical Sales Engineer but now with a broader focus on all business aspects of Fieldpiece, Oehme is kind of a jack of all trades, or should we say Jörg of all trades?

“As a technical sales engineer, my favorite part about my job is doing technical training with people. These people are not only end users, but also salesmen or distributors,” Jörg says right away, “and training these people is what makes me happy.” In his role at Fieldpiece, Jörg is on the road a lot to get out into the field and to meet new people.

“Working together with people is the best part of working for Fieldpiece. Not only am I talking about the clients, I also mean all of the colleagues,” Jörg starts explaining, “the contact is important to me because I like to help people and become a part of a reliable team.” Building that ‘reliable team’ has been a big part of Jörg’s journey here at Fieldpiece, but this journey started out with his interest in HVACR tools.

With more than 30 years of experience in the HVACR technology, Jörg was immediately swept off his feet when he learned about Fieldpiece. Of course, he’s always had an interest in—what was then the ‘new’ industry— in the now sophisticated and high-quality HVACR industry but Fieldpiece really caught his attention when it came onto his path. “The main reason why I came to work for Fieldpiece was the products. The complete portfolio was unlike everything I’d ever seen before and the design was so awesome, I had to know more about the brand,” he says. “but my favorite product is by far the MR45 Recovery Machine. I have never seen a recovery machine that can do what the MR45 does while also being this easy to use and this powerful.”
