Meet the team: Hester

Without a doubt, the busy bee of the office is our management assistant: Hester Buys. Since October 1st, 2023, Hester has been a part of the Fieldpiece team, ensuring that everything in the office and HR runs smoothly. We really enjoy having Hester around, but what does she think of Fieldpiece?

The international part of the organization is what initially drew Hester to come work for Fieldpiece. With her background in business and languages, as well as a degree in French translation, working with colleagues and people abroad is what sparked an interest. Not only does she get to practice all her language skills, but she has also been loving maintaining regular contact and building relationships with people all over Europe!

The other thing Hester loves most about her job, of course, is the job itself. “As a management assistant, you get to do such a wide variety of things in a day,” Hester explains. “From HR duties to supporting others in their roles, I just really enjoy that no day at work is ever the same.” Hester has been enjoying working for Fieldpiece in general. With innovation, communication, and support as the top priorities for the HVACR engineer, Hester is continuously motivated by her dynamic work environment and the company's commitment to the best tools for the technician.
